Quel's Professional Air Condition Services LLCQuel'sProfessional AC · Tampa Bay

Heating and cooling, start to finish.

Eight services covering everything from a new install to the duct run behind a room that never cools down — and the heat that has to work the one week a year it is asked to.

  1. AC Installation

A new system sized for your space and installed clean, including new construction and build-outs.

We size the system to the building rather than to the box that will fit, then handle the set, the line work, the electrical tie-in and the startup. New builds and additions welcome. You get a quoted price before the work begins.

  2. AC Replacement

Swapping out a system that has reached the end, without turning it into a two-day ordeal.

Old unit out, new unit in, tested before we leave. If your system is past ten or twelve years, needs repairs often, or your power bill has climbed for no obvious reason, replacement is usually the cheaper answer across the life of the equipment. We will tell you when it is not.

  3. AC Uninstallation

Safe removal and haul-away, done properly and without damaging what stays behind.

Refrigerant recovered to code, electrical isolated, the unit and pad taken away. Useful for demolition, renovations, and anywhere a system is coming out before something else goes in.

  4. Equipment & Duct Services

Where most comfort problems actually live. Airflow, ductwork, and the parts nobody sees.

Rooms that never cool down are usually a duct problem rather than a unit problem. We inspect the run, seal what is leaking, correct undersized returns, and put the airflow back where the design intended it.

  5. System Maintenance

    $90

A full check-over that catches the small failures before they become July failures.

Coils cleaned, refrigerant charge checked, electrical connections tightened, capacitor tested, drain line cleared, airflow verified. Twice a year is the interval that actually prevents breakdowns in this climate.

  6. Annual Maintenance Contract

Scheduled care across the year, so the system gets looked at before the season it has to survive.

Planned visits on a set schedule, documented, so nothing depends on remembering to book it. Suited to landlords, businesses, and anyone running more than one system.

  7. Heating Repair

Heat that will not come on, or comes on and never quite catches up on the cold week.

Diagnosed the same way as anything else here: $60 brings someone out to find the actual fault, and you get the price for the repair before a part is touched. Tampa Bay only needs heat a few weeks a year, which is precisely why it fails — a system that sat unused since March rarely announces a problem until the night you need it.

  8. Heating Installation & Replacement

A heating system sized for the building, installed to the same standard as the cooling side.

Sized to the space rather than to what fits, set, tied in and tested before we leave. Because heating and cooling usually share equipment, ductwork and electrical, replacing one is the moment to find out whether the other is about to follow it.

Service call

$60

One flat call-out fee to come and find the fault. You hear the price for the work before anything starts.

A technician crouched at an outdoor condenser with a refrigerant manifold and gauges connected.

You hear the price before the work

The service call brings a technician out and covers diagnosing the fault. Whatever it turns out to be, you get a number for the repair, and nothing happens until you agree to it.

No hourly meter
You are not paying for how long it takes to work out what is wrong.
No surprise invoice
The figure you approve is the figure on the bill.
No upsell to a new system
If it needs a part, you get a part. Replacement gets recommended when the numbers actually say so.

A system does not fail on payday

Financing for a new system runs through Regions Bank, $1,000 to $65,000 over 12 to 144 months. Checking what you qualify for is a soft credit pull. It does not affect your credit score.

Questions we get asked

Every 30 to 90 days in the Tampa Bay humidity. Closer to 30 if you have pets or run the system hard, closer to 90 for a light-use home. A clogged filter chokes airflow and makes the whole system work harder than it needs to.

Most often a tripped breaker, a frozen evaporator coil, or low refrigerant. Check the thermostat and the breaker first, since those cost nothing to rule out. If it is still warm after that, it needs a technician rather than another hour of guessing.

At least two feet all the way around. Leaves, dirt and clippings packed against the coil are one of the most common reasons a healthy system stops keeping up, and clearing them costs nothing.

Once a system is past ten to twelve years, needs repairs more than occasionally, or your power bill starts climbing without an explanation, replacing usually costs less across the life of the equipment. When a repair is still the better answer, we will say so.

Twice a year. A Tampa Bay summer is the hardest thing a residential system ever does, and a check-over before the season is what prevents a breakdown during it. A service covers ductwork, electrical and the refrigerant charge.
